Bonjour!! French time...
True brioche—the classic French yeast bread that's rich and golden with butter and eggs.
Ingredients:
270 gm Flour
7 gm Active yeast
Pinch of salt
3 medium eggs
40 gm Sugar
55 ml Milk
110 gm Butter
Step 1. Tip
flour, yeast, salt, eggs, sugar and milk into mixer bowl. Beat for 6 minutes.
Step 2. Smear
a bit of butter onto the dough. Push, punch...repeat until all butter’s used.
Step 3. Place
the dough in a bowl and cover.
Step 4. Set
a paper cup in individual brioche tin. Sit on baking tray.
Step 5. Divide
into 12 pieces, shape each piece into a ball and arrange in brioche tin.
Step 6. Leave
in a warm place to double size. Preheated oven to 200oc.
Step 7. Brush
with beaten egg. Bake for about 16 minutes until golden brown.
